The Board of Directors is happy to announce that the water pressure has been fully restored throughout Fort Bend MUD 23.

Thank you for reaching out to the District regarding water pressure over the recent weeks. Due to ongoing work being performed at one of the Water Plants, pressure has been slightly lower than normal but still above the level required by the governing agency.

Due to an unexpected repair at one of our water plants you may have noticed a slight decrease in your water pressure the past few days.

A huge thank you to all that contributed to the success of the Spring 2023 Bi-Annual Community Shred event for Fort Bend MUD 23 and Fort Bend MUD 24.

Special District officials are concerned about the increase in unplanned wastewater facility repairs and the associated sharp rise in overall sewer costs. If you are a resident within a MUD, please do your part to minimize expenses and preserve the efficiency and integrity of your MUD’s sewer system. Remember: Protect the pipes, don’t flush the wipes!

If your GARBAGE service day falls on a holiday, it will be collected on your next regularly scheduled trash service day. If your RECYCLE day falls on a holiday, it will be collected on your next regularly schedule recycle day.

FORT BEND COUNTY MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT No. 23’s water and wastewater operating company, Municipal District Services (MDS), is conducting a comprehensive water line flushing program throughout the neighborhood.

A freeze warning has been issued for parts of the Greater Houston area for Saturday evening, January 1, 2022, through Sunday night, January 2, 2022.

Does the Gulf Coast have an official “Winter”? Not by national comparison, but intermittent cold weather in this area can cause damage to homes, lawns, and pools. It is common to bundle up when it gets cold out there.

Our 2021 holiday schedule is as follows. Please note service times will likely be later than usual with the additional holiday volume.

Residents of Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 23 (FBCMUD 23) will be pleased to know the repairs to the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) are completed ahead of schedule.

Residents of Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 23 (FBCMUD 23) may have noticed a stronger-than-usual ammonia-like odor around the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) the last few days.

The drinking water supplied to the residents of Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 23 (FBCMUD 23) is groundwater pumped from the Evangeline Aquifer using water wells. Groundwater is “the water found underground in the cracks and spaces in soil, sand, and rock.

With the community spending more time in the home and utilizing water, residents may be curious about the Groundwater Reduction Plan (GRP) and the related fees on residential water bills.
